About Nicosia-Kyrenia-Karpaz Free Student Bus Services..

Please be informed that free student bus services between Nicosia–EMU–Nicosia, Kyrenia – EMU–Kyrenia and Karpaz– EMU –Karpaz will not be operating as of Friday, 19 January 2023. (Thursday, 18 January 2023, which is the last day of exams, will also be the last day for the said services).

On Thursday, 15 February 2023, which is the starting day of the 2022-23 Spring Semester, Nicosia, Kyrenia and Karpaz bus services will start to operate again. Those students wishing to benefit from the said services are required to visit the Transportation Affairs Unit as of 1 February 2023 and register for the services. Below are the documents needed for registration. Students who have submitted documents during the Fall Semester are not required to resubmit them again. However, they need to visit our office, register and receive their bus passes. The last day for registration is 23 February 2024. Students who do not register and receive bus passes until this date will not be allowed on the buses.

Residence certificate from the local district mukhtar.

Citizens of Other Countries:

Residence certificate from the local district mukhtar and a rental agreement.
